So welcome to mine.
Yes, I liked drawing as a kid. No, I wasn't terribly good at it, hence the drawing above not being my own work. I like it a lot, though, and I suppose it looks like me?
However, one thing I retained from then is an immense appreciation for stories. Having been brought up in Istanbul, Turkey and undergone an international education, not only had I found out there were more than two countries in the world, but was exposed to a fair share of stories. It always felt as if I had been to them!
As I grew up in this environment I was slowly attracted to the world of film. Not only did I feel over time that was it the most suitable avenue for me to visualise my ideas, but often the medium that I saw the most of myself in. So I moved to London in 2016 to pursue a BA in Film Studies at Richmond University.
I came out not only loving film even more, but embracing the inner film nerd and becoming more eager to tell my stories to the world. I've realised that I love the film industry and the mindset of the people within it. I believe that the world is always in need of new stories for widespread awareness and knowledge. Here's to hoping that we cross paths in the real world and share our stories with one another, and the rest of the world.
